Here's How It Works

The VIP program is simple. When you play poker for real money you earn VIP points. To advance to the higher levels of the program you need to have earned the required VIP points to reach that level. The higher the level, the greater your rewards. Different levels are also eligible for different freerolls.

At any time you can buy goods with your VIP points at our Loyalty Store or use them to buy into one of our many daily and weekly guaranteed tournaments.

Once you reach level 7, and you'll get there in no time, you can exchange your points for cash. The higher your level, the more favorable exchange rate you will receive.

It really is that simple. No complex calculations, point multipliers or time-based qualifications. Just play poker, and pick how and when you want to claim your rewards! Here's a table showing the various tiers -

How is my VIP level calculated?

The calculation to determine which level you are in is: Total VIP points earned for the life time of your play at BlackChip Poker less total VIP points decayed.

How do I exchange my VIP Points for Cash?

You can click here to be taken to the exchange points web page. You will need to login to your account to access this page.

Is it possible to go backwards in the VIP tiers?

Yes it is, but only if you don't play for 60 consecutive days. If this happens, amount of Decay Points, as outlined in the table above, will be deducted from your VIP balance. The deduction will only happen once every 60 days.

How does the Exchanges Per Month rule work?

You are allowed to exchange points for cash 3 times per calendar month at each tier you qualify for. That means that if you qualify for the A High tier, you can exchange points for cash 3 times in each calendar month at the best rate, but also 3 times each month at each of the lower rates should you wish to and should you have enough points to do so.

If I exchange points for cash will I drop in VIP levels?

No, you will not. Any points you exchange will be removed from your balance, but the calculation for your VIP tier is based on lifetime points earned minus lifetime points decayed, therefore spending your points will not affect the level you are on in any way.

How do I get into the freerolls at my level?

Our VIP program detects if you are eligible for the freeroll automatically and allows you to hit the register button if you meet the requirements. You can find the tournament in the Tournament/Freerolls tab in the BlackChip Poker Client.

When do the freerolls run?

The freerolls run on the last Sunday of every month starting at 13:30 BlackChip time. There must be at least 5 players registered for each tournament to run.
